The FIBRETEC Wood Chip Classifier screens wood chips to several groups according to size. The equipment is indispensable in analyzing the condition of the chipping knives. Uniform and proper
size chips reduce cooking time and result in the establishment of more precise stock preparation standards.
Various screens are assembled in the order of smaller hole and chips are put in the screen with max dia. When the chips are shaken by means of a shaker mechanism, specimen chip gradually downwards to be classified to various size groups. Finally, small chips are collected at the waste receiver at the lower most part. The specimens remained in the screen and waste at the waste receiver are weighed and inspection is made on the distributing condition of size of chips. Recommended dry content 40-70%.
